The Tone Amps Limited Lifetime Warranty

This warranty applies only to amplifiers manufactured by Tone Amps.  Please read it carefully for it explains your rights as a customer.

In the event of amplifier failure, it is highly recommended that the customer contact Tone Amps via telephone or email so we can work together to troubleshoot and find a solution to the problem.

All amplifiers manufactured by Tone Amps come with a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner, actually in possession of the amplifier,  that covers the cost of repair including all parts and labor except as described below.

Tubes supplied with the amplifier are guaranteed for 90 days and will be replaced free of charge if deemed defective by Tone Amps within the 90 day period from date of purchase of the amplifier.

Transformers are warranted for a period of 2 years from date of purchase and will be replaced without cost to the original owner if deemed defective by Tone Amps within the 2 year period from date of receipt of the amplifier.

The above does not apply to Mercury Magnetic Transformers which are warranted for a period of 10 years from the date of original purchase and will be replaced without cost to any owner of the amplifier that can supply the original proof of purchase date from Tone Amps.  Labor costs to remove and replace Mercury Magnetic transformers will be charged at the nominal rate of $30.00 per hour of bench time.  Note that this rate is subject to change at the discretion of Tone Amps.

Normal periodic service is not covered by this warranty, nor are acts of abuse, intentional or non-intentional, that result in either physical, electronic or any other form of damage as determined by Tone Amps.

If warranty service is required, the original owner of the amplifier will be responsible for the cost of one way shipping to Tone Amps for a period of 90 days from date of purchase.  After 90 days from the date of purchase the customer will be responsible for the cost of two way shipping to and from Tone Amps.

Within the 90 day tube replacement warranty period, the customer may ship the suspect tube(s) back to Tone Amps for testing and confirmation that the tube is, in fact, faulty.  If Tone Amps finds the tube to be faulty, it will replace the tube with an identical or like tube of equal or greater quality and provide free return shipping back to the customer.

If the tube is found to be functional and performing at least 10% above the standard 65% reject point, as determined by Tone Amps, Tone Amps will notify the customer via telephone or email to make arrangements for return shipping which the customer will be responsible for.

Amplifiers and amplifier kits manufactured by companies other than Tone Amps but sold and distributed through Tone Amps will be warranted under the original manufacturers warranty.  This includes kits from other companies that are assembled by Tone Amps.  The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping amplifiers returned for warranty work as stated above.

Any circumstances not covered by this warranty will be reviewed on an individual basis.  Decisions will be made in consideration of providing the best customer service possible.
